Hello to Fall and to the end of race season!
It is more improtant, now more than ever, to stick to your plans. Coming off of a long racing season it is normal for most athletes to feel spent from their racing endeavours. Listen to your bodies. If the body says rest, REST! If you need that extra motivation, meditate. Remind yourself why you want to run the marathon/half-marathon or why you want to fight hard to stay trim through the holidays. When you really need the extra accountability call up a teammate or training partner to complete your workouts. Remember it's 90% mental and 10% physical.
